Stylish Doll Collection

 Last year I bought "Stylish Doll Collection" that is  Licca for adult collectors (2 of them).
It comes with Stylish clothing, and accessories.  Stylish Doll Licca is  bit taller and skinnier than the regular Licca,

 I'll show you the photos of hers.

Her body looks nice although it does not look like a 11 yr old girl's body.

(*Licca is a forever 11 yr old girl) 

But I was disappointed in this body because it looks like wearing nude colored thong, 

(she comes with a white boyshort style underwear like all Licca dolls do) 

 Compare to the Regular Licca, The Regular Licca's lower body looks bit more seamless although not curvy and sexy.

 And the back of her body.. it really looks like wearing a nude colored thong, 

as you might notice, the side of the thong look parts have broken(missing).

          

That is the problem of this Stylish Doll Collection. 

As I mentioned earlier, I purchased 2 Stylish Doll Collection, 

(I paid approx $150 each) I bought them in January/February 2017 as new in box from Japan.

Now they both look like this. (photo below) both the thong look parts were gone, and cracked.

I bought the Black hair Licca in Feb 2017 then  noticed that the broken parts in October  2017, also something in her neck suddenly got broken and torn, she can no longer support her head with her neck, and  now she looks like this . See the photo below.

I've saved all broken parts of her, so I thought I could glue them to fix her butt, but her neck!             

Unlike the regular Licca's neck, this Stylish collection Licca's neck needs something in it to hold      her head (see the photo above), but the part supports her head got broken.

Then I wondered if Takara toy company could replace the body. 

I visited Takara website for contact info, but now they do not allow people from overseas (I think). the contact form page did not open, or the warning appeared for security. I was unable to go. 

Then I visited Takara Face book page, explained what happened and asked if they could replace it to a new body. they asked me for my e-mail address and told me that someone from customer service  would send me e-mail.  but still nothing I heard from them( it was a year ago I wrote them). I think they have noticed I don't live in Japan, that's probably why they did not reply.

They don't want to take care of customers outside Japan, they do not trust if the customers purchase their Licca from retail stores. (their website FAQ said something like that)

I admit that I bought those Stylish Collection Licca both at Ebay, both from Japanese sellers

who live in Japan, both different person, in different location. I do not believe they sold broken Licca with knowing it, because they sold their Licca as new in box, and when I received them, they really looked new in box, never opened, and I checked Licca's body at the time I received,  nothing broken, but shortly after the purchase, both broken, in the same area of the bodies. 

I believe material of the bodies were the problem, and the company should know it.  

I was really shocked that those Stylish Doll collection costed 5 times as much as Regular Licca price. 

(regular Licca is about $30 and Stylish collection is $150 or more), but they break easily without doing anything.( I am an adult collector, I do not play with Licca . I only use for taking photos or displaying). I really wanted to let the company know this and if they do make another Stylish doll collection Licca again,  I want them to make her as durable as regular Licca from now on.

So if you consider buying those Stylish Doll collection, you should think carefully.

My solution to fix the Black hair Licca was to have attached her head to Maria(one of Licca's friends)'s body. (Maria is taller than regular Licca)    but the original  dress came with Stylish Collection  may be little tight for this body.
